How long does the battery really last?

Up to 12 months in normal use, on a standard CR2032 coin cell you can buy anywhere. When it runs low, twist the tag open and swap it in seconds - no tools needed.

Does it work with my phone?

Both. The same tag works with Apple Find My on iPhone and Google Find Hub on Android, so there is no version to choose - it pairs with whichever network your phone already runs.

How does the tracking actually work?

Nearby iPhones or Android devices spot your tag and relay its location to your map - encrypted and anonymous. It updates as devices pass by, so it's not live GPS, but with over a billion devices in the network, updates come fast almost everywhere people are.

How strong is the magnetic case?

Strong enough to hold through potholes and washing - it grips flat steel surfaces firmly. For non-metal surfaces, clip it or drop it in a pocket instead.

Is it waterproof?

IP67 rated - rain, splashes and brief submersion are fine. It lives happily on bikes, bags and key rings year-round.
